Introduction

Hello, my name is Leelo , i'm a griffin. You know, a lion with the wings of an eagle. Well yep! that's me, Leelo the griffin. I created this blog to show you my experience during this Corona Virus Pandemic and to reach out to anyone out there who might be in a little trouble during these tough times.

I am a griffin of 26 human years. Oh wait, sorry I forgot to mention that 1 griffin year is 46 human years.  so technically I am 1196 years old. I was born in Camelot during the Great Purge of Ealdor. I was born in a haystack, not so far from the King Arthur's citadel. My mother had died shortly after giving birth to me and my brother Ellul. My father was used in the wars and was not there to witness my birth and my brothers. My aunt Carol was there though and she was the one who took care of us all these years. As I reached my junior years I started to attend the ''Griffin School for Boys''. I was a very good student as for my brother, well not so much. About 2 years after attending the school my aunt Carol had received a letter from the Elder Griffin, Abdul , that my father had passed away fighting the Eviellan. No one in our little forest had liked the Eviellan. They were a bunch of mean and ugly Unicorns who were used by the Alsteds to scare of us Griffins. I had never seen my father before but I can still remember the pain I felt knowing that the chance to see my father had ended. 

I graduated school at the ripe age of 782, which is 17 human years. I joined the bakery which was owned by my aunt. I was the Till Keeper (the job were I could manage the Kibble payed from griffins when they bought our pastries). Kibble is a griffin currency as your humans have Dollars, Pounds, Euros and etc. 

At 1012 (22) I fell in love with Dorothy. She was perfect, her eyes were like stars glistening in a fresh night sky and her wings were pearl grey. We had been collage students in my senior school, G.U.I.U. The Griffin Unisex International University. We had been partners in the science fair, back in 1358. We had become a couple for 2 years until i proposed to her. We were married on December the 5th in Grizedale. We now have three children, Jason, Claire and Roderick. 

We now all live in Camelot are protected by Sir Vendel ,The Duke of Canterburry.

My First Week In Quarantine

This week was honestly, hell. Jason running with homework, Claire worrying that her friends had forgotten about her and Rodrick was sleeping in all the time and not attending his online classes.

When I first got word that I would have to start baking indoors and having to go all the way to the customers to deliver their order. I was  not used to this at first but after a couple of days I got used to it. I knew that this is how i need to continue working for these next few weeks to be able to provide food for my family, as Dorothy was a stay at home mother and is unemployed. That's what we had decided on our honey moon. Oh speaking of our honey moon, our definition of ''Honey Moon'' is travelling to the moon and eat some honey.

Anyhow, I started to get used to this quarantine thing after a few days but I don't think my wife Dorothy did. Every evening, when we would gather around the table and eat out steak, she would complain that our children have been throwing clothes on the ground and leaving  plates of breakfast around the house. We had made it a family rule on the first day of this quarantine that we were aloud to take food into our rooms only on the occasion that we have online classes and if we do have classes then we will sure be to remember to take the plates down after the class is over. Dorothy would complain that she is not our slave and that just because she didn't go to get employed that she is just the maid of our house. She mentioned, and I quote,''I have sacrificed everything for this family, who knows, maybe i could have been a famous author or a Griff Star''. Dorothy was a bit dramatic but i do agree with her. The kids have been very messy and they had taken advantage of this situation.

Now for my children. As I said earlier, Jason had a ton of homework. Jason kept on running of to me when he had a problem. I would have to stop working, get up, wash my hands form the flour and then get my calculator from the basement. The problems wee not so hard and after a while i would start to think that he was just to lazy to work out the answers for himself. Claire is a hard working girl that worries a lot about her friends. She keeps her head in the educational game. She had recently joined a new school and has only made 2 friends. Maradith and Morgana. She is worried that they might forget her as they live farther away from us and closer to each other. And as for Roderick, well he is just lazy and honestly i have tried helping before but he just doesn't want to listen. Now he needs to face the music with his teachers.

The Pros and Cons of staying in lock-down / Quarantine

Most of us associate the ''Pro and Con'' type with a type of debate, for example: ''Is it good that i am going back to the W.W.E.?''  So for this article I will use the Pro and Con statement in a different type.
Lets get started.

PROS

Lets start with the most obvious ones: 

1.We get to spend more time with our family, and get to eat                                                                        most of our meals together

2.The children get to spend more time on what ever subject                                                                        they think is more important 

3.The children will have more time to get closer to one another.

4.I have more time to make more types of pastries as usually                                                                     the bakery closes at 15:15 but now i end up working till 18:45.
5.We get to eat our favourite meals when ever we want.

CONS

1.We are all cramped up in our house and don't have a lot of                                                                      places to play.

 2.If one of us gets sick then we might have a larger chance of                                                                   getting sick.

3.We can't see our friends face to face 

4.Griffins think that most families might be sick so they will                                                                      stay away from us at all times 

5.Food and water is getting low as many people are stockpiling                                                                  their kitchens.
